Hey summers here, and our cars aren't new any more... I guess that over this summer, and this coming winter, more and more people will be coming to the forum to do more things and ask more common questions at once as our cars age...

OMG I have been tryin to post in this thread and it never worked. DON'T USE THE GREEN OR RED COOLANT! The coolant our cars use is yellow, its called Zerex G-05 by Valvoline. It even has a chart on the bottle that shows what color coolant to use for which make and year.
Trust me, I did the research before I did my flush

i just did the coolant flush in my 1gn. Tis the season lol.

I used the Prestone yellow stuff, thats for any make and model. The coolant i drained out was the color of sand. It obviously needed it lol

they may say on the bottle that it is for any make or model but what you have to ask about is "is it safe for ALUMINUM radiators" b/c coolant/antifreeze has a tendency to corrode/eat away aluminum thus causing you some SERIOUS problems.....

anyways after i did my coolant flush and fill, I noticed that when i turn my car off after driving it well just when it gets to its normal temp. when its off the coolant makes a boiling or bubbling sound... it kinda sounds like a water bong.... anyways... should i be worried? as it never made that sound before........

My car made that sound from new till now from time to time... I thought the same thing and questioned it years ago but everyone said it's normal... coolant was good too and seemed to have good pressure and flow @ temp so I guess it's just the way our systems are designed... probably just coolant getting pushed back up into the reservoir after shutting it off, dunno...
