Okay, and I said maybe the mechanic thought that she was talking about her o2 sensor affecting her tachometer, which would of course make no sense. What I said made sense, idiots.

More MPG? Here's a top-ten list for ya.
10. Dont drive anywhere, ride with someone else.
9. Onlydriveto work on days when it's downwind. Stop at the bar and don't drive back home until the wind changes again.
8. Inflate your tires to 60 psi.
7. Put half a gallon of methanol and acetone in your tank at every fill-up.
6. Put a sail on your roof replace your e-brake with a rudder handle.
5. Pull your seats, carpet, matting, and all unnecessary interior out. Then swapstock 2.0-liter motor with a 1.3-liter Suzuki motor.
4. Hook onto semi-trailers at truck stops when they aren't looking and let them drag you down the road.
3. Buy a mo-ped and duct-tape it to the side of your car. When you get up to speed, start the motor and let it cruise...
2. Pull off the side of the highwayand wait till a truck stops to offer help. Tell him your trannies out and you just need a tow to the next exit where a friend agreed to meet you later. After you get to the exit, say thanks a goodbye. Wait till he's gone, push your car down the on-ramp on the other side of the highway and coast back onto the highway. Wait for some other shmuck to pull over and repeat process.
1. Put a 300-degree thermostat in your car and run 2000-grd polyglycol in the radiator and pure ethanol in the gas tank.
Hey, the car might not last for very long but you'll get great mpg until it takes a s***! lol
