Okay so i bought this 2003 Dodge Neon SXT not too long ago. Anyways the ****ing power in this thing is a total piece. I'm getting a new battery one of those dry cells blah blah.. ANYWAYS i put the windows down and friggn the lights dim or the fan for the console goes down 80% power so on and so forth. What i need to find is a decent one thats gonna give me some power the last guy abused the **** out of it i guess due to it being a police oction and such and already had the wires set up for a bass. I dont know **** about looking for a new alternator so anyone got any ideas on what im looking for or "This is what i need" if you wanna give me a Super good pricey one i can see that be cool and a medium one that will crank out the power i need too would be sweet.. sites are good too but im just not sure what im looking for im all thumbs on this particular note.

I dont know about the alternator but i am running three optima yellow tops 1 under the hood and two in the trunk with no problem. But yea a nice boost from the alternator would be helpful if anyone can help us

 

Yeah, i'm looking for a beefier alternator as well. My lights dim way too much. I'll prolly uprgrade both a new alternator and a yellow top optima bat. when i get the money together. Anyone know of any good sites that offer one or the other for a devent price?

 

I dont know whats going on with this site lately, either no one is on or no one can help us with this project. Ive been asking for help with my gauge overlays for forever and not one reply, Good luck. Im still in the hunt for the altenator.

 

Yeah you CAN google this **** but i mean when theres 20 different alt's theres no way of telling what specs ANYTHING has.. how the **** do these companies even sell this **** without figuring out what anything does that way a user can ****ing buy their products

if u want a stronger alternator, the pt cruiser GT has a higher output, its a direct fit.
