Default Lower Control Arm, broken frame mount nut

Need some help with this. Driver's side came off beautifully. Passenger side rusty. Broke the frame mounted nut loose, bolt will not loosen or tighten now. Can't get to the nut (inside frame). This is my son's car - not much $. We bought him the parts for his b-day.

Any advice on how to remedy this??? Really need some help.

Nope. I mean the bolt that was welded to the frame broke loose from the welds, because it it rusted to the bolt. Now it just spins, can't tighten it back up or loosen the bolt. The nut is boxed inside the frame. Can't figure out what to do.

Hmm, maybe you'll have to just cut and weld... or cut the bolt off and grind it flush, get the nut out of the way, then replace it with a similar new bolt and new nut of the same size from the hardware store.

sorry, I mean the "NUT" that was welded to the frame. Not the bolt.

Yeah, but I can't get to the nut because it is boxed inside the frame. The only thing I can think of to do is cut a hole thru the frame big enough to get a wrench thru and see if I can get a hold of the nut.

But will that affect the frame stability?? I don't know.

Possibly, but not definitely... you may have to patch and weld it afterwards. Not sure... maybe if you post a photo for us to show exactly where then we could give a better opinion. Im too lazy to go look under my car right now lol.

Wow thats pretty bad. I would suggest trying to cut out a section above that or go way around from the other side... somewhere that you can get to the nut with a socket, but wont degrade the structural integrity of the car that much... other than that, I have no idea how else you could really get to it.
