15.8 is pretty good time. What specific mods and wheels did you have at the time?

 

15.8 is a rediculously good time for a non-rt 5 spd neon. Or do you have an RT, can't remember. I ran 16 flat at 89mph was the quickest I ever went.

 

13.89 is my all time best.... that is untill NEXT year.... but i better be in the 11s by then

 

I agree... 15.88 to be exact. Non-RT. At the time, had stock SXT wheels with the skinnies on it. My best time before that was 16.2. The launch was the best part of the run, pushed it up to about 4000+ rpm, and slipped/dumped it perfect (probably couldnt do it again). I had to do it that way to get up and going quick anyway, because the track was STICKY STICKY that day.

Mods were relatively low at that point. Just a CAI, flowmaster exhaust, short shifter, and one other "controversial" mod that we wont discuss lol.

Oh, and 1/8 of a tank of gas, cleaned out the car, removed spare tire, jack, drained ww reservoir, etc etc... anyway thats about all I can remember. This was 2 years ago...

 

Thats some good times. Thats a nice looking NOS kit.

Man you could just paint that. A all chrome bottle would look nice. Or carbon fiber.
