Set the warning withing 500 rpm of redline. I prefer Autometer gages, but thats just me. It should be relatively in sync with the dash tach. If you dont have many mods under the hood, andsomeone sees that 5" tach on the dash, they will own you if they can...

if you all ready have a tach, i dont see the point in mounting a huge ugly tach on your car. unless you have some serious power, it just spells rice.

If someone in a quick car pulls up and sees it, and you cant run any quicker than a low 16, and they do... said ownage will occur.

Well its been a while since I have been around the V8 drag racing scene, but MSD does make an ignition box for 4-cylinders... I have used the 6AL ignition for V8s, but no experience with the 4-cyl applications. An Autometer tach should be completely adjustable for what you want to do, without worrying about what I just said ^

where will you mount the tach to? in the place where the PSI gauge is on the SRT4? in front of an A/C vent?
