How are those POLK speakers?

 

I actually love them... I have polk in the front and polk in the rear. plus i have a 4 channel amp powering them so i have the highs and lows and sound is perfect if not better.

 

I like to POLK in the front and back too. LOL Oh ok. Whats in the trunk?

i have 2 12" audiobahn subs, one mono block amp for the 2 subs, 4 channel amp for the speakers and 2 1.0 farrat caps. all by audiobahn. 1500 watt max.. and of course dyno mat.

IMO I would go in this order for mids:

Exellent:JL Audio
Great: Infinity,Clarion, Eclipse, Polk,
Cheap, but get the job done I suppose: Sony, Pioneer, Anything else under a reasonable brand name

Make sure you buy nothing less than a 3-way speaker... and if you really want your mids to sound liek something you never dreamed of, get an amp to power your mids. There is a world of difference between using just a head unit and using a decent amp!

 

If you want sound quality JL Audio makes a kick butt 6 1/2 component set but i have heard polks stuff and they are loud as well just not as crisp as the JL's. Let us know what you get.

 

I have plenty of bass I need something that is crisp. Ill look at the JL's.

 

Well whatever you are looking for, bass, crisp, loud, exact, etc etc... JL Audios are usually the best all-around for all of that. About the only thing the JLs wont give you is bad sound...
