ELECTRIC RADIATOR FAN
OPERATES ALL THE TIME.
1. Fan relay, powertrain control
module (PCM) or engine coolant
temperature sensor defective.
1. Refer to appropriate Powertrain
Diagnostic Procedures manual for
operation of the DRB scan tool.
Repair as necessary.
2. Check for low coolant level. 2. Repair as necessary.

Yup look in the TDP manual and break out that DRB scan tool, then repair as necessary... that explains everything. LOL j/k.

I'm not busting anyone's *****, but this is one of the reasons I am not copying and pasting the DCX stuff much on here, instead of using my own words. If you don't proof-read what it is saying, it can be a bit misleading to someone who doesn't know much about Neons, or cars in general, or to someone who is having a specific Neon-related problem and is looking for specific answers or ideas...

This one is probably a much less-involved fix that that... I would guess the coolant temperature sensor is a good place to start, then check the relays in the PCM... and go from there... I wouldn't worry about the manuals or scan tools, since you can complete what you need to do without them.

Hi Tony69, It looks like you never got a reply to this post, is that correct? I have the same issue right now. If you got this solved can you tell me what happened? I see that it is almost 2 years ago. Thanks
