Got smoked by a stock cavy...

ive raced a cavy before i have a automactic and i beat him by a car or two until he messed with his ecu i dont have any good mods yet im kinda picky but im ready to get them im bout to order some headers, cai, a new muffler, throttle body, and start a top end build with a crane 12 cam simliar to the rt models. if anyone knows where a stock rt header is can someone let me know.

Yeah, I've hit 16 flat probably 5 times. I have seen 3-5 maybe that have just squeeked under 16 seconds. I would be under 16, but I never have been able to find the right combination to get off the line. My 60 foots are average at best. But there is a very fine line between giving it too much gas and not enough gas off the line and every track/day is different. I have raced cavys from a stop/roll and I always win. I raced a z24 at the drag strip and lost, he was about .5 seconds faster then me.
Maybe my car was built on a Wednesday, or maybe I am just tham much of a badass. LOL
I took on a new V6 2-door Cavilier, and I got him by about half a car 0-60... he had an extra passenger however.
