It's easy... well, once you get to it. It's located just to the passenger-side of the lower hose, in a tight spot. A lot of people can get to it, but I have kind of big fingers and hands, and didn't feel like messing with it, so I just pulled the hose instead.
FYI I ended up doing this a month or so ago, went with the Prestone. Yes, it is green. No, it is not like the old green stuff. Yes, it is more than safe for the aluminum in our cars and has the anti-corrosion mix already in it. I blended a 70/30 mixture myself, for maximum operating range.
Prestone is all I ever use. I just did mines. Remember Iowa I told you I had a leak. Well it was my clamp on the bottom hose close to the radiator. Man Im glad my uncle has a lift. It makes working on the car a he11 a lot easier.
Kind of, its actually a petcock. I said heck with it though, and I just pulled the lower main hose off for fast fast drainage and flush.
Izero: Had to pull it out and scrub the heck out of it huh? Did you have to flush it with antibiotics? LOL
