Did anyone look at the recent links posted for boost info as the OP was trying to get at?

N/M... joke failed... and the green smilies don't work either.

No... actually, I saw you and KARR going at it, and I found the link to one of Graphite's old DIY threads. That's why I am shocked that all the people in this thread, and no one in the last 36 hours could answer my question if they even actually looked at any of the posted links for the turbo/boost/DIY NGC threads... unless they got bored with the thread maybe, who knows...

I was trying to get the thread back on-topic because it interested me, but maybe everyone already gave up on it.

No, not trying to directly start **** with anyone. You know what's getting on my nerves the most (and this part has nothing to do with you for the most part) is that every time someone posts a good, meaty thread about neons or car-stuff in general, or something more technical like this one could have been... noobs crash it.

I guess I would like to see people actually get curious about the topics and show some interest instead of smarting off or making every topic here offtopic in every other post, you know? It gets on my nerves. The DF OT section is more organized than this. I really wanted to see what people were out there that could answer my question... if they at least just looked at the links, and what their feedback was on the tech stuff. NO ONE responded!

The stuff interested me, that's all I am saying... we need some more performance enthusiasts around here. Or at least some weekend gearheads that have some common sense around the garage, and are excited to explore options and ideas with their vehicle, instead of being immature.

Call me crazy, I know this is an enthusiast-driven website, but I created that first video for a reason, to get more people around this entire site (and to get current members excited as well and show their rides off). So far, it's working... but it would be nice to see threads like this succeed and not drift into fighting, to get those people to stay. This section is notorious for that...

Hey i'm not going to say I didn't crash the thread...but I never strike first.

I agree with the n00b thing though.

From oil changes and tranny fluid adding HP to huge *** vinyls...sometimes people just need to stay quiet.

Well... I agree with that. More importantly, I think if the poster doesn't know what they are talking about, they need to stay out of it unless they have questions to ask. That would probably decrease the drama for everyone.

And sorry I am destracted... I'll tell you why in the 2nd-gen OT thread lol.

I also think if the poster doesn't know what they are talking about, it helps to correct them in a respectful way, instead of insulting them and starting a post war over BS, in a technical section.
