lol i know vtecs a freaking honda lol. i was asking about dohc and sohc. and i have a sohc. but dose any one if it would be easer to ebuild my 2.0l into a 2.4 and wat i would need to do. and or just buy a 2.4. i have a nock in my 2.0 and have i thik 50000 miles or just under that

 

you can build a 2.0 into a 2.2 but not a 2.4 so if you want a 2.4 your gonna have to swap.

Are you complete sure that you have a knock or do you have a ticking noise. If it's a ticking noise then i hate to tell ya but if it's not ticking it's not a neon.LOL

 

You can stroke it to a 2.2, but most swap in an SRT 2.4L

 

stroking it takes a lot of money and time... seriously the machinists charge up the @$$ for that stuff... and then you still gotta get new bottom end parts or at the very least Pistons..... but w/e

 

Dude it's free to stroke it, just don't let your parents find out. Some GF's are into it, depends.
