Default Neon rear brakes

We are trying to replace the rear brakes in a 2003 Neon...we cannot get the drums off. We took the adjuster all of the way in, used pry bars, and Stay loose and nothing has worked...does anyone have any suggestions?

release the ebrake!

beat the crap out of the drums with a big as$ hammer. it will break free and if it doesnt, then get a bigger hammer and bust up the drums.

I agree with the hammer! Not so sure about beating the crap out of it, but with some gentle persuasion they'll come off.

Elegant solution...if you have blow torch try heating the drum (especially the center area of it) and then giving it a firm blow with the hammer). Heating the drum will cause the drum to expand a bit and break loose from the hub).

Use a dead blow hammer and swing!
