Trust me its easy... should take 4 hours tops for the boards..
Both boards now have their resistors in place and soldered.

Havn't soldered since my D.E. class in high school so don't give me heat lol.
Here we have my genius led tester..

Which is basically a little key chain led light i took apart, works awesome...

So far so good. Its been very easy so far, only took me 30 mins to do both boards, resistor wise.
Right now I'm just testing out the leds to see if they all work, may even do a board tonight.

Well one board has all its leds on it.
It has 35, 70 degree (wide angle) leds placed around the perimeter of the board and the second ring from the bottom, so the parking lights aren't just facing outwards.
The other 48 leds make up the inner parts of the board which are surrounded by the wide angle and they are 20 degree leds.
With this combination I am hoping to get the brightest possible setup.
Here are some pics..

If you look closely you can see the differance between the wide angle and the 20 degree leds.
I also have some shots of the actual leds lit up showing the differance between the two.
20 degree:

The wide angle leds are pretty much only good for lighting up the reflectors in the tail light housing, while the 20 degree focus the light.

I got all my leds at besthongkong.com 0 percent failure rate!
The connectors look like this and i got them on autolumination.com

![](http://superlumination.com/images/auto_bulbs/3waym_wm.jpg)
They are called 3 Wire Locking Connector 6" 20 ga
And are found 3/4's of the way down the page.
http://autolumination.com/connectors.htm
IMO, if your not buying anything else from them its not worth getting just the connectors alone.

Both board are done be soldered, well at least the initial soldering. I'm now into testing the boards, which has given me problems. first time i go to test the boards, The boards ground silver lead got ripped off. Fixed that problem by jumping it to the two grounds from the leds closest to it.
Now i just have to deal with getting all the leds to turn on.
Here are some pics

I have two rows out, ugh..
And i only have 5 leds that light up with the parking lights...

looking straight into the boards, the narrow angled leds really are bright, from this angle they look to be at least 3x brighter.. Probly going to make some bright *** tails.
