Ive used Valvoline and Castrol in all my cars. But Ive only been using Castrol in my Neon. 5W30 is recommended for the Neon. Here is a link that was posted by a crazy SOB (LOL) N3ON that explains a lot. Credit goes to N3ON

Manny cause it sounded like you did. I work at walmart and have seen idiots who have no right being near a car working on one. Mat has had issues with them on his wheels, and they screwed him over.

i use whatever brand is on sale or the walmart super tech. i dont care what brand is in the car, just that its the correct grade.

i think that a good filter is more important than the brand of oil. i noticed while at walmart the techs come and get filters off the shelf and they always get the fram filter and not the super tech filter. i personaly prefer the NAPA gold filters.

The funny things is, the SuperTech filters are better than the FRAM ones too! The SuperTech oil is good as well.

lol.alrite.but i just didnt know much about oil types thats it. i mean ive done everything to my car myself and havent paid anyone to do anything on it.well besides paint.but yeah thanks. i too know people that are jealous sometimes and they can also mess with ur car at the shop and thats why i dont like taking it into shops cause people hate it when a nice car comes by for some reason.but its cool.
