I had a similar problem with my heat last year. My cars temp gauge would barely move even after driving a awhile and driving fast. I would have to let the car sit and warm up for awhile. All I did this year was flushed my radiator, installed a CAI, and kept my oil level up. Now Ive noticed my heat works good. Sounds weird but thats all Ive done to my car.
How long does it take for your cars temp gauge to rise?
How long does it take for your heat to finally get warm or hot?

hello karr . It takes about 5 min. of high speed driving/ or 10 min. of idling to get the temp gauge up to temp. About an additional 5 min. to get warm air. but its not really hot enough?

is the blower working?

is the air intake clogged with leaves?

do you get heat when the recirc is on?

5 or 10 mins to get to temp is normal.
