However big your wallet and however much time you have. But to be more realistic and reasonable, you should be able to drop a 2.4 in there without too many problems as long as you have everything.

displacement isn't the end all anymore, go with the srt engine if you're looking for power. it's a relatively easy fit, I've heard the mounts are all the same

If you were going to drop a 2.4 in their, just go with the SRT4 motor. Get the wiring harness, tranny, axles, everything. It would be far easier to work with then taking a 2.4L NA motor and turboing it. A lot of your work would already be done with the SRT4 motor.

I am gonna agree with the SRT-4 motor, thats probally the easiest and best. But you can do anything, throw a chevy 350 in and make it rear wheel drive, anything is possible.

I'd have to agree with the SRT-4 engine. I was even thinking about dropping that in my 1998 neon r/t. All the munts are the same on mine too

i heard that the chassis is different with the srt4 compared to the se and sxt, because i guess if you drop a 2.4 in a se or sxt chassis it will eventually twist it. [sm=nerd.gif]
