I will be getting a bi-xenon kit very soon, 6k.
I want to ask you why you went with the 10k kit? The lumens really drop off when you get that high unless your going for looks more than light compacity.
Wow that sites kits are expensive. I will be going with the vvme bi kit which is only 78.99.

Edit: If I remember correctly you have the halo/led projectors right? if so, then I really wouldn't run anything over 8k in them because their is a very high possibility that you will melt the housing.

i agree with srtgtr34. those hid units get hotter than hell after 6000k. thats why i didnt go any higher. also it depends on the type of headlamp assembly you plan on going with. some of these aftermarket headlamps are cheaply made. i value the life of the unit more than i do the looks. just be careful on what you purchase.

I'm too poor to afford an HID kit so I just bought some Xenon white bulbs from Hong Kong on ebay with a mixture of LEDs like srtgtr34 lol.

I think 6,000k is even a bit high. I had some 4100k in my TSX retrofitted projectors and they were plenty blue and threw tons of light. Reason I said "had" is because they are off the car at the moment I need to do some adjustment and reseal them because I had a small leak. I may go with 5000k bulbs, but I will not go any higher then that. I'm more concerned with light output then I am about looking "tuner".

I believe 5K is the pure white. Best visibility out of them all. 6K has a bluish tint to them. Anything above 6K is really useless as far as visibility goes, but they look better to some.

4300 is pure white, 5k is just a hint of blue and 6k is a little more blue. To tell you the truth most people can't tell what K an oncoming cars hid's are unless they are 10k and up, they are blue and purple and in some cases green. A person can obviosly tell what range you have like 5k-8k ,3k-4k and 10k & up.

Edit I'll let the pro's tell the story...

4300K has an approximately 3100lm output, which is more than 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and is the color temperature with the most output. The light appears fairly white, and has light yellowish hue when reflected off the road identical to the OEM HID equipped vehicles. It is ideal for customers who do a lot of back road or canyon driving and need the optimal visibility.

6000K has an approximately 2900lm output, which is 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 4700K. Although it has a bit lesser light output, it emits pure whiter light with a slight tint of blue.

8000K has an approximately 2500lm output, which is about 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 6000K. While it has a bit lesser light output, it emits bluer light than the 6000K. This is one of the most popular of all color temperatures by customer demand.

10000K has an approximately 2300lm output, which is more than 2x the light output of the traditional halogen light. 10000K produces a deep blue light output approaching violet and the blue is noticeably deeper than the 8000K. This is the most popular color temperature by customer demand.

12000K has an approximately 2000lm output, which is more than 2x the light output of the traditional halogen light. This color temperature puts out a deep bluish violet light and is deeper colored than the 10000K. It is for customer who are looking for the most extreme and most exotic looking light output.
