Default 2000 dodge neon question

Hi all,
I have a 2000 dodge neon. There is clunking coming from the front end when I go over a series of bumps. I can feel it in the floor. I had the struts and mounts replaced last summer both front and rear. I also had the tie rod ends replaced too. I had my friend look over the front suspension, the sway bar and end links, ball joints, cv, he said they were all fine. When I took it to get a new exhaust on my car at meinekee they said my lower control arms were in rough shape. I didnt have them do any work cause I wanted to get a 2nd opinion before I shell out money. I would have my friend do it, but its winter and he usually works outside and cant get into a garage for him to fix it. So I was wondering how much it might cost me at a garage. I am gonna call around for the best deal. Do you think its the control arms? My friend thinks it might just be the bushings that just need replacing. I also have to get a camber set when I get an alignment, cause for whatever reason you cant adjust the front camber on the passanger side. I would appreciate any input on this matter, thanks for any replies

I have a brand new pair of control arm bushings waiting for either me or a shop to put them in. They will make all sorts of weird noise if they are bad.

Got my control arm bushings and sway bar end links and alignment done today and it seems to have solved the problem. Took it for a spin after it seemed alot smoother and no clunking, steering is tighter too. So I hope that will be all for issues for a while. Thanks for the reply.
