Default Check Engine Light- P0420

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon with a HRC Turbo kit.

Ok, I just got my car running and I was on my way to get my car inspected and boom Check Engine light appeared. So I pulled over and turned the ignition on and off to pull the Code. P0420 appeared. P0420 means Catalyst efficiency low-bank 1.

I havent a Catalytic Converter on my car for about 15,000 miles now, and never has this code appeared. Some possible causes for this(from Auto Zone) CC defective, Engine misfire or running condition, Large vacuum leak, Engine oil leaking into exhaust. New spark plugs and oil change has just been performed and still I have this code.

I heard that there is a adapter to use on the o2 sensor. What can I do to get this code to go away and stay away?

Find a Spark Plug non-fouler in the help section of your local auto parts store...

size details here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...if-no-cat.html

They do make a size that requires no drilling. i think there is only two sizes and it is not the one in the link above.

I used on on my turbo SXT... no drilling required and no codes.

There are many more than two sizes of non-foulers.
