Trouble Starting
Ok so if I dont start my car for a day or two and i go to start it it has trouble starting... Like sometimes the starter wont engage and it almost sounds like there isn't enough power in the battery to crank it... but when i check my voltmeter to the battery i have a perfect 12-12.5 volts in there... I am pondering if it is the ignition coil that could be the problem or if it could be the starter.... Such a pain in the @$$....
What kind of noise does it make when it won't start? If your battery is good, I would be leaning towards the starter. Mine took a dump after only like 30k miles. My original battery is still going strong 5 years later. It even started when it was below 0 last week.
Well that didn't sound exactly like mine when it went bad. Mine would sometimes not start the first time you turned the key. Sometimes I could hear a "grinding" noise and it would not start. Every time it did not start if I turned the key to off then tried to start it again it would. Still think its your starter.

yup usually ALWAYS started in like 2-3 cranks when its cold and like 1 or 2 when its warm out.... idk.... I think ill just replace the starter and then prolly the ignition coil.... anyone have any suggestions on where to go for a new (NON-REMANUFACTURED) starter? for a reasonable price? AND btw she only started so quick b/c i started her like 20 min before....

Yea dude sounds like your starter to me. Brushes are probably worn down to where there not passin the current efficently through the bendix of the starter< causing it to drag, then spin up and start the engine
thats what i was thinking b/c I KNOW she's getting enough juice its just not passing through the starter.... so its gotta be.... which is gonna be a pain in the *** to change in this effin' cold
