thanks, i really am starting to consider it... but the recon inspection is truly a pain in the @ss...
here's how crappy it is here (for those who might consider it here)
when i went for my truck, i needed to install fender flares and mud guards, and get an alignment with a spec sheet printout to pass, and at the inspection (which i had to schedule 2 months ahead of time), the inspector said my mud guards were an inch off, so i told him i could move it within a couple min, but he said no, i had to reschedule an appointment (so i had to wait another 2mos)... also i had a couple little scratches in my tint so i had to either take it all off or get it redone... plus all stickers had to be taken off my windows (only had one tiny one out of sight), and i needed to change my tail lights back to stock... they check a whole bunch of crap which you normally don't have to worry about otherwise
but still i really want to so i'll probably put myself through it eventually

ny has a ride height law, but the problem is it is only for lifted ****... no lower law... the ride hieght for lifted trucks is a surtain point from the ground to the bumper, but it is never enforced. they would rather pull people over for loud exhaust than someone in a lifted truck that could just run over any small compact car and kill who ever is inside it..... i hate ny state law bs

btw, although the carbon fiber hood has no cracks, it's really unglossy now and there's a haze on some parts, most people tell me they thought it was just a black hood i tried buffing, polishing, scrubbing, waxing etc., but no success...
so i'm thinking about getting the outsides painted and keeping some spots of carbon fiber...
here's a quick photoshop of a design my gf came up with...
i think it works with the white eyelids while still keeping the good parts of the carbon fiber... i made my own designs but my gf said it looked too crazy and after a while i realized she was right lol... any input or ideas for something different welcomed
