if you just get your hood sanded and like three coats of clear put on it will look perfect thats what I did with all my motorcycle parts.Also with good clear put on it wont fade again like that anytime soon.

what kinda head unit is that? i am looking for a tv setup like that, but i want to beable to use it as a monitor as well. for tuning... alittle something a friend of mine came up with... wink wink

thanks, i'm actually going to try that... maybe start wet sanding with 400 grit, and work my way up to 800, re-clear like 5 times, then wet sand with 1000-2000 grit and polish... hopefully that works

it's the panasonic cq-vx100u. I got it because it plays divx/avi files, i love it lol... the ipod hookup so that you can access the ipon on your screen is pretty good too... the only downfalls for me is that you have to wait like 5sec for the stupid warning screen when you first start it... has a front a/v input which would probably work for your tuning purposes lol
