Default volant CAI

anyone have any experience with volant CAI? i've been looking online and was thinking about getting an AEM but a guy at a shop in my area told me volant made a good one... here's the part http://www.volant.com/idetail.asp?ID=161

volant is ok, I haven't heard of anyone running them on neons, but seen them on Ram SRT-10's.

they are pretty good. my uncle has a cai by them in his tundra

thanks, after digging around it seems like a good brand CAI, but for now i took off my resonator, changed my filter to a k&n, and got the lid off of the filter box for that sound til i decide whether to do a CAI or a body mod first

never tried them, but it seems alright.. Make sure taht it is for your 2 gen and not a 1 gen

actually i got a cai installed now that came with a hood i bought, but i was asking about the volant because a shop recommended it to me so i was curious

Just a warning. It is loud! I don't drive it wife does. But, she says when you step on it, people look!

if you do decide to go with a cai, get the bypass valve made by aem. itll help if you somehow manage to run into a deep puddle. it comes in 3 different sizes.
