2000 dodge neon The car will not start still!!!
I took it out for a drive and it doesnt let me pass 2400 rpm on any gear it feels like its about to turn off like if I was down shifting. what's a cel and the code? I don't get it? am paranoid it's my ride to work I have no other vehicles not even a bike. well am f..... if I don't get it fixt.
Symptom:
P0325-KNOCK SENSOR #1 CIRCUIT
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0325-KNOCK SENSOR #1 CIRCUIT
When Monitored: With the ignition on and the engine running.
Set Condition: The Knock Sensor circuit voltage falls below a minimum value. The
minimum value is from a look-up table internal to the PCM and is based on engine rpm.
DTC also sets if sensor output is approx 5.0 volts and the engine is running within idle
range. One Trip Fault.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
GOOD TRIP EQUAL TO ZERO
KNOCK SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
KNOCK SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
(K42) KS SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
(K42) KS SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (K45) KS RETURN CIRCUIT
(K45) KS RETURN CIRCUIT OPEN

P0340-CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0340-CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT
When Monitored: Engine cranking/running. Battery voltage greater than 10 volts.
Set Condition: At least 5 seconds or 2.5 engine revolutions have elapsed with crankshaft
position sensor signals present but no camshaft position sensor signal. One Trip Fault.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
INTERMITTENT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL

Naa I got it I messs with the udp to hold the flywheel so I think It might be the timeing belt, because I didn't even touch the sensors not even pull on the cables am sure thats what it is let me now what you think?
Well, you only get the codes if something with them is wrong. You don't have to mess with sensors for them to go bad. Look at the causes of the codes. If your timing was off, you'd have a bigger problem than a CEL.
ok it's not the timeing and I clean the sensors one code disapear the PO325 but
P0340-CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT still there I repleace it with a new one and it still there mi car takes a long time to start then when I hit the gas it won't let me pass 2400rpm wtf could it be I siriusly feel like sh++ and not only that am broke too no money
