Just got a 2003 Neon SE
Hello I'm 16 years old, I live in Vegas and I just started driving. It's a gift from my parents. 12,000 miles on it and is Light Almond Pearl. I've seen some of your guys' cars and they are nice! I'd like to do some upgrades myself, but I don't know what to do. The only thing I know I'm going to get for sure are Mopar Euro Tail lights.

The rims are really ugly though. They look so blocky. Aren't they only 15 inches? Do I have to get new tires to accomedate 17 inches or how does that work? What tires/rims do you recommend? I guess I'll get tail lights and some nice rims first. Mayby a spoiler later on. But like I said I'm open to ideas. Thanks guys! Hope to post with you guys often.

yea you will have to get new tires to go with 17" rims.... it depends on what you wanna do with your car show or go..if you want show go with the rims maybe a nice kit or somethjing...if you want go..go with the borla catback and header...and maybe some other stuff
I'm not into to getting abody kit or anything.
My tires are brand new. I'd hate to waste money and get new ones. Do you guys think it would look goofy with 15 inch rims? I found a couple that I like.

well tbh 15 inch rims look kinda bad bigger is better.. you can keep the set you got now as off season rims so your nice pair don't get wrecked or you can even sell them to make your money back... but i would go bigger then 15's thats for sure. and the tail lights look nice as hell so be sure to get those.
I would go with 16's or 17's. They tails are nice too. Try modern performance, for some ideas on performance and parts.
i put 16s on my car, im really happy with them. just my opinion i dont really like huge wheels, i dont think id ever go bigger than 17s on a small car. check out www.tires.com they have some nice wheel/tire packages
Thanks for your input guys.
I know those lights are bad! I can't wait to get those. I'll buy those in a month or so. But I won't be able to get new tires/rims untill this summer when I'll be working. But like I said I wasn't sure how big. Thanks for your help.

I would go either 16s or 17s. I'm personally going with 17s as my summer wheels with some high performance tires that won't break loose in the corners like my stock crappy 15"s do. [:@]
So those are 15s in your sig? Those look like a good size. I'm pretty sure I have 14 right now. 16s won't be too big? If I got 16s would the tire have to be super thin? I heard those wear out fast and are expensive. I'm just going to be driving to school and stuff. So I don't need anything crazy. I just want better rims than what I have now. They just look gay, lol. Here's a car that looks exactly like mine. I'd like 16 or even 17 if the tires don't have to be super thin, and i have enough room to turn and everything.
