Default ? about the 02 SE model

i bought some racing headers, they're on the way now, but i was talking to someone and they asked if i knew how to do it, and said something about remapping th car if you do it, that its not just pull the stock headers off and put on new ones, my question is, on my model can you just swap out the parts or do i have ot do something more?

i was looking under my hood, at where the header would go, or at least where i tihnk it would go, and it looks like theres a lot there that cna get in the way, like an axel and some other stuff, when putting in a new header is that stuff easily avoidable?

yeah man theres nothing in the way really. all u gotta do is unbolt the headers and there should be like a metal heat shield around it wich comes off too. to only thing thatll probably give u trouble is the unbolting part since its been on there for a while. so use a good rust off lubricant.

What headers did you get? Also does anyone know of any cheap good racing headers?

the only thing that was in my way was the bottom heat shield. I ended up just bending it a little so it wouldn't rub on the headers.
