Default Cold Air Intake Fitment

So before I went through with this, I was wondering...
I have a 2004 SXT.
K&N's typhoon system states it's for 2000-2005's
I'm looking at an eBay CAI that looks mighty nice but it says 2000-2003. Any difference?

Are the intakes on 2000's through 05 the same?

post a link of the ebay one and ill tell u whether itll work or not.

and when u get a ebay intake its best to get a aem filter cause they are the best, the filters that come with those ebay ones suck.

but i rock the AEM cold air intake one. just saying.lol.

Alright here it is, 50 bucks. I like that it has a support arm and it's supposed to come with the CARB exempt sticker.

And about the filter, I was planning on going K&N. But the one I have is a 2.5" so I might use a short piece of ABS pipe that's 2.5" as well, to a reducer that attaches to the 3"CAI pipe.

If it is 50 state CARB, why would they need to hand out an exempt sticker? Not bad for the price though!

yeah thats a nice looking one for sure. and yeah itll fit your neon. if u still have ur stock box then u will deff feel some power diff when u get the intake on there but after a while itll grow on u and itll just feel like natural. but it really makes the engine look clean cause you are taking the stock air box out and thats some big space.

actually the worse filter i know of to get is the k&n because it's too poris. So aem, spectre, even the filter that comes with it is just fine but if you want to pay all the money for a name like aem go for it just a waste of money.
