i have a 2002 sxt and i was wondering if its possible to change the head lights out to a 2004 style headlight so i can use the body kits for those years??

 

yes it is possible i think a member name dtjackten did the conversion!

 

Thought you just needed the newer front bumper?

 

yes it is a direct bolt on but you have to have the bumper to install the lights.

 

didnt know they made an 02 sxt.thought it was only for 03-05 cause the es was discontinued in 02.but yea what smalls said.the tail lights and head lights will only go with the front end or rear end.
00-02 headlights=00-02 front end
03-05 tail lights=03-05 rear end

 

you dont have to have the front bumper but it just looks weird, and yes there is a 02 sxt. my coworker owns one

 

yeah i have seen an 02 sxt here too looks mighty fine also it's red with black racing stripes.

 

ALOT easier to get a front bumper off an 03+..... but it can be done with a 02 bumper... but it takes alot of time, a lot of bumper glue. but it does look funny if u do not add something to fill in the spot where the turn signals go....
