i am trying to figure out what would be the best type of intake, turbo, and any other mods that i can make on my neon to make it faster...

 

aem or k& n intake either is good and if you put a turbo in it will void your warrenty and if you want turbo you like me should of gotten a srt4 they are just sweet in 1st gen I have a turbo 96 neon would never put one in my sxt.dual exhaust would help being a little faster also I have one on my 2004 sxt.

It's always great to start with an upgraded intake and exhaust system.
AEM and Iceman are the best brands of intakes; the cold air intake is the best type. Chillfactory is probably the best turbo system. A cam will also give u one of the best performance increases.

 

Well not to start an argument but chill factory might make the best kit but I prefer the Garrett turbo's themselfes.

 

Whay kit do you prefer. The only two populat ones I have seen are Hahns and Chill Factory.

 

those are the only 2 they make for our cars you can get a seperate turbo though!!!

 

I heard of another company, I can't remember the name though. It was a small company.

unless your racing at the track why would you want your sxt to be faster I wouldnt mess with the warrenty it does come in handy nothings gone wrong with mine so far but after having a 1st gen with so much wrong love to have the warrenty and I can write anyway I want I never act my age whats wrong with that nobodys perfect except the Lord.

 

do the aem cold air intakes come with carb numbers? i'm trying to get one but i want to make sure its legal.
