Default Which exhaust system?!!?!?

So im getting rid of my stock exhaust in my 04 sxt. i wanna get something

for better performance and that sounds great. was thinking about the

magnaflow, but i dont have the $600 to get it and to get it installed. so i

thought about a custom Exhaust. they are asking around $360. After

looking around i noticed some people were putting stock SRT-4 Exhaust

systems in their SXT's. i went on YOUTUBE to see how they sounded,

they sounded pretty damn good. i heard you can get a stock SRT

Exhaust system for about $150. than $100 to get it installed. SO HERE IS

THE QUESTION. would it be worth it for me to get the stock SRT

exhaust? would the amount of HP and Tourqe gain be the same? and

would it also help that i have the K&N cold air intake to better the air

flow. if so i plan on ordering the SRT-4 Exhaust system, cheaper, and if

its the same amount of power gain and same sound. PLEASE!!! ANYONE

HELP ME!!!

The SRT-4 exhaust will not help your car, its has offers not back pressure that a normal n/a motor needs back pressure to work its potential. Just get a 2.5 inch system with a dual outlet muffler either magnaflow or flowmaster and I bet youll love the sound, I know a site that you can get a whole 2.5 system for $120 plus s/h and its mandrel bend with single or dual exit, or stainless steel for $190. I found all this out from experience when I had my sxt

if you want a dual outlet then yea, it sounds good, if you want it quieter dont get on it when you first get it installed, if you want it a bit louder then usual then as soon as its done fine a place and get on it hard, there is a plate on flowmasters to help with the noise, if you get on it with the muffler brand new it bends the plate a bit .
