Default which header is better?

I am planning on purchasing either the pacesetter armor coated header or the obx race header. Wanted to know if anybody has used either one and how you like it. Thanks

They are all about the same. You get what you pay for, get the armourcoated one. I have the Kirk racing and like it.

now when i go to install the header is there anything instuctions that come with it. I am going with the pacesetter header to match my pacesetter exhaust. It appears like its gonna be interesting trying to get the header off with only a little space behind the engine, should i work from underneath or on top? Anyone who has actually installed a header would be of great help

Yep go witht he armor coated.I like my header but it looks old already when i just put it on not to long ago. I worked from the top of the car most of the time but i had to pull the cat off, so ur gunna have to work under as well. I had to weld a piece onto my cat also. took about 5 hours for me to get it out and 2 to intall it.

Im just curious as to what you had to weld because I believe it says that it requires no mods and its a direct bolt on?

For the passeter i did. i dont know about the other headers. the end of the header is round and it comes with a flange that u weld to your cat. first you have to cut the cat at the 1st weld mark then slide the flange in then weld it. ill post a pic up. I had my uncle weld it. Im pretty sure the header is longer then stock, there for it pushes the cat back,so by cuting it and welding the flange it it is all lined up right. And if im not mistaken the longer the header is the more top end you get. is this tru.
