Default Suspension/Lowering ?

I'm thinking about lowering my car but, I talked to a guy at Midas and he suggested not to. He said it would not be convenient to do that because not anyone (Midas, Tire Kingdom etc.) can align your tires. He said they align your tires by the cars specs. Do u all have to go to a special place to get your tires serviced? Do u have to go to a performance shop or something? Just curious

I got mine aligned at my work. A dealership. I tuck my factory 15s with a coilover setup, and we put my car under perfect specs. took a while to get it on the rack but it can be done. they just tell you that because it is not worth your 59.95 for them to spend all there time on your car. Ill bet if you thow them some cash they will do it !!![sm=hail.gif]

Oh I see.

So some tire places align by the specs of the car and others can align by laser? What's the best way for a lowered car a laser?

If they do it by the specs its gonna be off. Laser is the only way to do a lowered car right, or at least the easiest.

There are aftermarket camber bolts available to the shops (probably will charge extra to put them in-we do) that should get them at least close if not the struts don't have slots that alow ajustment. The struts may have an elongated slot that should alow some adjustment (would use this first). If still of then you can have the strut holes elongated to help correct problem. There is a way. Just understand it may cost extra. But hey it already did right? Should be doable.
