I talked to someone to day and they said they know someone that can do something to the motor and get 400HP out of it, WITHOUT TURBO, If true how is this possible

 

not that i know of... but then again, theres a lot i dont know.

 

400hp without turbo?

easy. drop a 400hp V8 in the neon

but, no way youll get 400hp out of the 2.0 sohc in naturally aspirated form.

 

LOL.........would the engine compartment hold a v-8? with the suspension in also.....i think that would be something to see......

 

the firewall has to be pushed back, but yeah, it can hold a V8

 

get a v6 out of a stratus and supercharge it you will get close to 400 whp...well maybe not quite but still....its not a turbo charger

 

Nothings impossable or how would the Top fuel's make 8000hp I could see it done but you wouldnt have much left of your stock 2.0

seeing as that discracefull ford company made a package in the motorsports catalogue where you could take any focus and put in a 302 rear drive in it i say someone should do the same with the neon... if i had the cash i would get someone to stuff in the 6.1L hemi with all wheel drive.. i know it would be super expencive but can you imagine the look on the corvette drivers face as a neon dusts him.. thats i ride i would sign up for in a second.. put in a six speed and some 19 inch chromes and we have arrived.. plus it would probably cost less than trying to get the same hp out of a 2.0L if it would be evan possible to have a 425 hp street legal 2.0
