You could have changed it in your driveway in less than 30 minutes with the Dodge part too. The dealer doesn't have to install the Dodge part.

Well I had almost the same problem in mine I think the same code thought it was the sensor and found out the sensor wasnt the problem it was that my 04 sxt needed new plugs and wires and I know this was the problem because the engine light went off right after I put the plugs and wires in and she has full power more so than I remember. Yes you can change the sensor in your driveway only took my husband 15min and it was free for me seeing I had warrenty from the old one . warrenty last 2yrs on the duralastwho knows if you have any on the mopar ones. I quit going to the dealership seeing I dont trust them to do anything to my neon . Husband and I do everything. Better off to buy the one from autozone and see how long that last which I will tell you how long mine will last. I think the aftermarket parts are just as good as mopar.

i realize this.

i didn't wanna darken their door (the dealer) at all cuz i knew they would ***-rape me with the price. (their price was almost 3X the aftermarket)
but as i said, i had to go and listen to my dad ( "there could be something else, you need to let the professionals handle that".) blahdy-blah, blah

gotta stop listening to him on things automotive......

well i know mine wasn't plugs, cuz i just changed 'em myself 3k miles ago.
and the dealership has a 12 month, 12k mile warranty on dodge parts.

should have listened to my gut instead of my dad....
