Hey guys, does anyone know where I can find a leak detection pump for my 2003 dodge neon sxt?

 

Most likely a dealer only item, I've looked at most parts stores for them, but no luck.

where is the leak detection pump located on the vehicle. I have a 2001 dodge neon. I got a check engine trouble code for a pinched line for the evap system and so far my research leads me here. Would this be the cause of my gas gauge dropping as i drive and then if i shut the car off for 1 hour or more it will properly read my gas level when i restart it.

 

No. Gage measures liquid volume not vapors.

 

but it could be the reason for the evap line pinched code and i would still like to know where its located on the vehicle? how hard is it to access? and what could cause the gas gauge problem?

 

By the right rear wheel behind the fuel tank.

LDP is located on a bracket near right rear swaybar mount
