I have a 2003 neon with about 96K miles on it. Abt 2 yrs bck I replaced the alternator and battery ever since I have been getting the battery indicator on the dash and check engine light.

Every time the check engine light is reset it comes back on in about 4 to 7 days time.

I have shown it many mechanics like Firestone,Precision tune etc. No one has a clue whats happening. Any ideas or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

When you need help with a CEL, you can really only get help when you post the code.
When you replaced the battery, did your old one have a sleeve over it with a plug-in on the back of it (facing the firewall)? If so, did that sleeve get re-installed and the sensor plugged back in?
