Question srt engine swap/ turbo

hey im new to this. i have an 05 sxt. all ive done is just replaced the air intake with a oem stillen air intake. im looking into swapping my 2.0L for the srt4 engine. what would i have to do. do i have to swap the engine and transmission? get fabricated mounts? or what. also, how could i go about getting a turbo and intercooler for the 2.0L engine? would that be a custom build? if anybody could help me out it is very appreciated. you can contact me at tylerroark@yahoo.com or on here. thank yall so much.

Hahn kit would be so much easier and well worth the money or if you can find one for a nice price like Im trying to do. theres to much to do with the srt turbo swap and finding a non abused srt motor these days.

The SRT swap will cost you WAY more in the long run as the Hahn kit will run you $2700 MAX. With the Hahn kit you can safely run 8 PSI but even more with a built engine.

H TS-2585 TurboSystem, 03 & Up, Neon 4,724.99

right off of hahnracecraft.com..... a far far cry from 2,700 MAX....

he said 05, so it is a NGC car. if he wants to do it the correct way he is looking at 4800 plus tax from hahn....

contact aspturbo.com for a great product, and prolly about a grand cheaper, depending on turbo choice. (thats right u can pick the turbo u want)

but back to your original question OP... a srtswap can get expensive, the motor mounts are all the same. u will need a wiring harness and ecu, along with a trans and engine, turbo setup, exhaust, in some cases gauge cluster. the prices for an srt engine and trans i have seen for around 3k, but that would not include exhaust, harness, ecu. SOMETIMES you can find a complete drop out with harness and all online such as ebay. but they are few and far between.

You can find a hahn turbo kit from time to time off ebay for around 1500 to 2500 grand or other forums.

Woops! I was looking at the 00-02 page. I never understood why the 03 & up was always more.

Go with an ASP turbo kit. Comes with everything you need, including the new standalone computer system (I don't recall any other turbo kit offering this either, so there's another ~$400 on top of the price of their kit). Base kit is ~$3,700 and is good for up to ~300WHP.
