Car pulls to the right under light acceleration automatic
#31
So, I just asked my daughter if the car pulled like this after all the front suspension stuff was changed while she was away at college and she said no. She said it started doing it up here BEFORE the trans messed up and that solenoid was changed.
So now trying to narrow it down when she noticed it. Im thinking when the car got up here and water pump/timing belt AND mid engine mount was changed it might have started. So maybe with trans mount only thing left maybe thats the cause as once the engine mount was changed that side is more secure now and trans mount is giving some at a certain rpm/torque.
I have a new trans mount so ill give it a shot....

All engine mounts were changed in the last 6 months as well.
I just took the car out for some testing on long sweeping curves under moderate acceleration. It seems to me its just FWD torque pull in the upper gears. I hit it hard off a couple starts and it seemed to do it then as well.
Im gonna chalk it up to that for right now cause I cant find anything loose under there or needing replacing as pretty much all suspension parts have been replaced this last year. Altho every once in a while ill get a clunk when hitting man hole cover depressions in the road.
My sons supercharged Cobalt had torque steer bad and thats what it feels like just on a much smaller scale.

The mid engine mount was busted so it got changed right away with WP/timing belt but no one had a trans mount in stock when that work was being done so it didnt get done.

I should change my trans mount when I do the TB/WP since my torque struts were broke, and my engine mount because of it. It couldn't hurt I suppose. I think I'm going to try and find a filled one though...
Edit: At ~$100 for that mount, I think I'll wait until I find a good filled mount F/S
