2000 air intake
heys guys i am new to this forum and the whole performance scene as well.
i have a 2000 dodge neon and have some questions about upgrading it.
first off, it has 139k miles on it. is that too many miles to start doing things like this? i am not trying to do anything extreme.
since the car is stock i figure adding a better air filter and perhaps a cold air intake system.
after doing some looking i found a couple i am curious about
1st K&N (gains 5.3 hp)

2nd AFE Magnum Force (gains up to 25 hp)

which of those do you think would be best?
any other tips appreciated.

Do something with the intake system behind the air filter (you can remove the air silencer though, which is before) or the throttle body...

My open airfilter is behind the driver's side bumper(in front of the wheel). I'm scared as hell to drive it in the rain. It does sound good though.
As for performance, get an exhaust. Either Magnaflow or even a stocker SRT. Mine's nice!
