r u serious? Some people have other things to do than refresh the Dodge Neon page on their computer every 5 minutes.

If the red light it staying on, there is most likely a problem with the Dodge sentry key system. If that isn't working, the car won't run. I don't know much about the system because I haven't had a problem, so I haven't studied it. Quite a bit, the car has to go to the dealer or a capable shop that can check the programming of everything.

ok, would that cause the car to shut down while driving down the road and not fire back up?

if so, do any of you know what it would cost to have the stealership fix it?

thanks guys,

One thing i've not seen is what type of key do you have? the stock type or one with a battery in it?

Good question. Places are handing out those battery powered keys like candy. One place up here tried to sell me one of those the other week.

I'm not sure how the security system on the Neon works either. But if the red light is on obviously you are getting some type of battery power. Can you turn the lights on or does the dome turn on when you open the door? You may just have a dying battery and alternator.

well things for a little help. it is very easy to overlook a blown fuse lol. it started after replacing fuse and then died the coil pack burned out right after it started lol. i know cause its getting power to coil and coil has a hairline crack in it.

were starting it and SELLING IT... NOBODY BUY A NEON PLZZZZ they need a good home like the junkyard. that way people dont have to stress over being broke down all the time and weak slow 4 cyl motors. honda only people who make strong good 4cyls leave it up to them not dodge. dodge good for the cummins turbo diesels.
