Everyone has there ops on what a neon is and Im always in the tuner sport compact class at carshows and everyone calls my sxt a sport compact. Just depends how you mod your neon I guess. Theres some neons over on cardomain that have upgraded to srt brakes thats the way to go if I were upgrading which I may when I turbo mine.

Define sport-compact car: "A sport compact is a high-performance version of a compact car or a subcompact car." An SRT-4 is a high-performance version of a Neon; a compact car. An SI is a high-performance version of a Civic. Most people don't know, or care, what the difference is. That doesn't mean there isn't one. Either way, what you are doing with your car is exactly what you are asking him "why" with his, except on a much bigger and more expensive scale. Drop it.

Yeah mines going to be expensive after I get through with the makeover. Im just saying if you dont have performance mods to go with the upgraded brakeing its just going to ruin stuff to his neon. Most who upgrade brakes are the ones who have turbos or performance mods just never heard of upgrading brakes if your neon has no performance stuff. The two guys on here that I think have upgraded brakes are dt he has a turbo neon and neon on 19s and he has a turbo neon.
