Would love to have a caliber r/t for my next ride but love my neon so dont think that will be happening anytime soon. Would of loved it if they would of stuck with the neon a few more yrs or bring it back with a cooler design.

if I open my hood, it says "2.0 16 valve"...that's why I asked the question at the beginning of this post.

I once had a Caliber as a loaner, and did not like it at all....why did they make the windows so high and so small?... have ridden is a Chevy HHR and noticed the same thing... really hard to see and drive, IMHO

There is an Orange blast Caliber SRT on the used lot I pass by every day, and have no desire to even go check it out...

Sohc wont be anywhere on or in your neon. I know mine is a sohc because shes not a srt4 or a 1st gen neon so all 2nd gen neons are sohcs. even when I get parts at any autoparts store they say a 2004 2.0 sohc dodge neon right . I love how the caliber drives I had an r/t as a loner and it was a fun ride awd ftw. Also test drove a few csrt4s and loved them.

It is a SOHC. Unless the engine was changed out by you or someone else, it is a SOHC. The only Neon that got a DOHC was the SRT-4. The 2.0L engines were SOHC. If you don't have a 2.4L engine, you've got SOHC. Hope that clears up just about any way to think about it.

Was wondering if anyone have heard of doing a 2.4 head onto a 2.0 block?
