"Blipping" the gas just means push it hard enough while still standing on the brake to bring the RPMs up to <1300 or so. I know the symptom you're describing though. How's everything else running?

hey guys I have a fix for you. I was having a similar issue, so here goes.

1> basic, make sure cars been serviced, plugs leads etc etc

2> make sure you are using COPPER plugs and not PLATINUM are cars are not ment for them

SUBJECT:
Engine Performance Enhancements/**Rough Idle In Drive**
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control
Module (PCM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM) with new software.

I got a dealer to do this for about 50 bucks and it works

I cant remember, you can tell by the plug code though
Champion RC 9YC are copper, think the C stands for copper.

Any make are fine, but they MUST be copper,
I found the champions are best

What I did was re seated the spark plug tubes in the head and replaced my alternator and plugs. Worked for me.

AFAIK, they are nickle plugs with a "copper core"
so there not platinum, personally I would swap them out for the champions.

and your right the alternator wont have anything to do with this,

do a general service, plugs, leads, make sure everything basic is hunky dory, then get the PCM/TCM done, bet your bottom $ that will fic it
