darthroush, you did not need to be abrasive and demeaning to showsxt:

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php

FF

Edit: rockauto shows a motor mount to consist of three parts: a front right lower, upper front right and rear (transmission?)
link is for the main catalog page

THanks fas where were you when I needed motor mounts those are awesomely priced a bit cheaper than what I paid at autozone at least for the upper and lower wow and a little cheaper for the middle one . I paid like 35bucks for all 3 of them and autozone wants 150bucks for the middle one and the dealership they are over priced there. Got my middle one from the junk yard off a 05 for 35bucks and the mount was brand new .

I won't argue anymore against the useless posts of "my husband does all the work" or "don't bother learning what things really are or what they are really called because it's unnecessary" or "this is what fixed my problem so any other potential solution someone else suggests is wrong" that don't help anyone out with the actual problem they posted. No problem. Nothing like being counterintuitive to the purpose of the posts asking for help.

I wouldn't necessarily argue either that because parts stores say the part is called _____, that makes it the correct name. Parts places say a lot of things; quite a bit which are incorrect. I've gone in asking for a replacement part, only to be handed something completely different than what I needed.

Best of luck OP. If you don't want to overpay for the motor mount, I've linked to a store on Amazon several times for showsxt and others that has the same mount you get in the stores for ~$40. Shouldn't be too hard to find on Amazon.

Also most guys do there own work and its alot cheaper than going anywhere these days everywhere overcharges anyways to even look at your ride . So op better off doing your work yourselve than going anywhere seriously. Like I said I use to do my own work to my neon just in the last two yrs I cant do much like I use to having carpel tunnel in both hands makes it really hard to even hold a screw driver anymore. So seeing I have such a wonderful husband he helps me out now a days. I think rock auto has them pretty cheap also. ALso on amazon who knows if you get full warrenty where at autozone you get life time warrenty .

If you don't know how to work on a car, jumping right into automatic transmissions is a very bad way to go about learning how.

Is the lifetime warranty of the mount worth the extra $110 on a part that WILL wear out? Warranties don't cover "wear and tear" or abuse, which is how mounts eventually go bad. You are promoting the warranty, yet you yourself couldn't justify the price difference. Why recommend it then? Rockauto sells the same mount that you get on Amazon (Anchor brand), but that one is okay because I didn't recommend it? LOL...

I meant upper and lower mounts which cost 35bucks at any auto parts store locally and if you order from anywhere you have to wait and wait for the part and longer for you not to have your neon back and running like you would if you got your parts in the same day you fix it. Not all guys know how to work on cars I know some that just take it to the dealership and dont care how much it cost and how much they get ripped off. Again nothing wrong with having a auto its just darths op and a few others on here who have bad experiance and theres some of us who love our autos who never have any problems..

I was talking about the actual motor mount; the same mount you referred to from my post. I figured we were still talking about the same one...whoulda thunk?

Yeah but my tranny mount was never bad it still looks brand new . It was the middle one for my neon that was horrible along with the upper and lower one. I dont think this guys problem will be the tranny one either. Seems like most think its the tranny and it ends up being the middle mount.

Those two are the main mounts. If one of those two go, there will be issues.

Yep I know the middle one caused alot of vibration and dragging and rubber burning and she didnt run well or have much speed. After the middle one was changed wow what a difference.
