Default Questions on modding

Hey all!

Can anyone help me out? I have a 2004 SXT, i want to lower the car to where the back bumper is the same heigth as the front. kinda has a rounded off look??? might be impossible... I wouldn't mind buying a body kit, and painting everything but i dont have 3,000

I am keeping the stock 15" rims and plan to powdercoat them a high gloss black.

I would Love for different seats Prefer leather.. Any ideas/info would be greatly appreciated however the SRT-4's arent exactly my favorite design and the lowest i found one was 400.00 for the set.

Another thing I would like to change is the fact that it is sooooo loud on the inside Road noise is my biggest flaw to my baby..

Like is said before any advise/info is greatly appreciated thanks!

You can try the tokiko blue and spring setup they come as a set on ebay for your drop I think they give the same drop up front and in the rear . Also a mopar lip kit is a pretty nice bodykit and you can get the front and rear as a one at your dealership for around 100bucks and look on ebay for some sides. You can try some r/t seats they are pretty cool lookin and comfortable and if your lucky you can find some at a junk yard. If its loud inside you might want to look into changing your motor mounts .

A proper set of struts and lowering springs will just about even the stance out. It has the "rake" for a reason, and as such, even a lowering kit keeps it.

Leather seats will cost you more than $400. Expect to pay about $700-$1,200 or so for just the covers, plus any labor if you don't install them yourself. That, or buy vinyl seats (what most manufacturers use as fake leather: naugahyde, leatherette and so on...).

If you want to lessen road noise, buy sound deadening material and install it. Think along the lines of DynaMat.

Yes the mopar lip kits come in black and you can get the motor mounts at any autoparts store and so-so to install. R/t seats or srt4 seats will fit just right in your sxt.

PM replied about the DynaMat. As for where to put it, you'd have to gut the interior. It goes under the carpet onto the floorboard.

E-Brake: Download the manual in my signature and the adjustment procedure is in the braking section.

My friend might be selling his r/t sideskirts but you need to paint them to match your color seeing they are blaze red.

are people still finding the MOPAR lip kits at dealers?

I know I picked up the whole kit, sides, front and back for $168 a couple years ago and I thought that was because they were discontinued/clearancing them out cuz the Neon was not made anymore?

I know there was a list somewhere that said how many were left at dealers, and that was at least a year ago when they said there were very few left....

Just wondering why whenever the lip kit comes up, people keep recommending they check the dealer, like they can one one in any color they want....(?)
