I have a 2001 Neon base 2.0.
My brother had done some work to it before he gave it me and put 230k on it. its a 5spd, with a short throw.

Started collecting all my parts and now have almost everything i need, heres a list of whats being done and what i have.

kyb gr2 struts-have
eibach springs (he dropped it 3", i'm bring it back up 1.5")-have
strut mounts (both front and rear) -have
ball joints-have
tie rods-have
cv axles-waiting to arrive
sway bar bushings (and sway bar itself probably)-still looking for somewhere with the sway bar itself.
driverside rear door panel and latch-looking for.

bought a new motor for $225 with only 55k on it (not seized!!!)
all gaskets-have
pistons-waiting to order
ngk plugs-have
msd ignition-have
plug wires-have
cam-waiting to order


any suggestions, advice, or help/comments in general would be much appreciated.

I also forgot to mention that I live in CT, and I'm doing the work in MA, anyone around those areas that has any know how in this please feel free to drop me a line.

 

What exactly are you wanting advice or suggestions on?
