I'd like to see a neon rear end your truck, then there'll be one less on the road.

Really? my Co-worker just has his 3rd trans installed on his WRX in less than 40K miles. Even tho he beat the crap out of his car(s). But he never had any problems with his Pontiac GTO with 60k miles.
you do know the LanEvo uses the (tweaked) GMAC engine shared by Chrysler and Hyundai right?
Meh, for the Price of those STI and Evo, I rather get a Mustang GT. Or a 2011 Charger.

If you prefer a Chrysler Product that is Competively reliable against the Import, look into a Minivan or Ram Truck.
The Neons are quite flimsy, only good thing about them is they are Cheap and good on Gas.

Honda Accord and Civics are pretty nice car. everything else they sell is not any better than their Domestic Competition. Well, All they really sell are Accord and Civic anyway.

They SUCK on gas. I'd put my old Toyota up agains any neon in a fuel economy competition along with reliability/repair cost.

I got 36 MPG this week. Also I'm sure it has a more powerful engine than whatever toyota you have.

my old toyota pulled over 42mpg all day. I own 5 neons now and not one of them POS gets over 32. And you never have to fix a Toyota. How about that neon that's getting fixed like every week? is yours an automatic or manual trans?

Mine misfires occasionally and the CEL is on and I still get over 32 all day long, you must be doing something wrong.

is yours manual or automatic?

Rather eat rice than drive a Fix It Again Tony Chrysler product.

everyone has their preference for cars. mine is Ford. i'm not a fan of neons but my wife wanted it for her and my son. i'm not gonna sit here and knock the car on a forum for it just because it isn't my personal preference. the problem with America today is that we rely too much on imported products and not enough on American made products. i don't care if a toyota gets 100 mpg, i still wouldn't choose it over a 30mpg neon.
