thanks for your advice and as soon as i get paid ill go buy a new set of plugs and see if that helps.....ill be happy when its fixed so i can start doing the fun stuff to my new car

 

When you put the new plugs in check the old spark plugs for oil.

The spark plug tubes on these engines like to walk themselves out and when that happens the tubes fill up with oil and foul out the plugs.

 

So jen what fun stuff are you looking to do. New wires will do wonders and will cause hesatation.

 

i want to get rims and new headlights and tail lights i need to get a new deck and put my subs in as soon as i can....im not really sure if i want to lower it i think im getting to old for that

 

How old of gal are you Im a 36 yr old gal and have lowered my sxt now shes going to be bagged for shows something different than anyone else around. I think lowering a vehicle is for any age actually . I think you should look on ebay for your headlights and taillights and what kind of wheels are you lookin at getting I think 16s or 17s are your best way to go.

 

im 30 till august....my boyfriend found these wheels on line that i really like enkei gw8 black but i think im gonna have to buy them one at a time...ill be working on my car for a while to get it the way i want it but thats ok

 

It took me 4yrs until I got my sxt the way she is now and she was somewhat modded in those 4yrs . Did not get wheels until 2008 and the lip kit until 2009. So 30 is pretty young compared to me Im 36. Those enkeis are awesome lookin. Im lookin into getting some 17s or 18 koings. look on ebay to see what headlights and taillights you like. Also what color is your sxt.

 

my boyfriend founs some pretty nice ones on ebay ill tell you what they are later....the enkeis are 18s and i found them on ebay for 699.95 and 120 shipping so im going to start saving up for them....my sxt is the deep red color like a marone or burgendy ill put some pics up later

 

That color of red is called red blaze. You should start out by tinting your windows and painting your grill inserts black. sounds like you already want to make it blaze red and black cool.
