I would check motor and tranny mounts like SXT said, they can let the engine rock a lot which would make it seem hesitant.

Worn mounts won't cause an engine to hesitate, providing the engine itself is actually hesitating. Sounds more like a tune-up is in order.

Yeah could get new plug wires and a new air filter and an oil chance and see if all that helps out It you had vibrating inside really bad than it would be the motor mounts but from what your saying its more like darth said a simple tune up which means new wires and oil change and air filter and check your other fluids . Also check your tire pressure in all 4 tires to see if they are the same and at the right pressure.

Do the spark plug wires look new? If you remove the spark plugs, do they look new? Are they copper plugs? Are they gapped correctly?

It could also be something that isn't normally changed until it goes bad...like the IAC valve.
